Mother and son both surprised when she uses her healing hands

Carol Callahan, a Silva instructor in Vergennes, Vermont, told us recently of her first experience with the laying on of hands that we teach to both Silva graduates and the public in the Ecumenical Society of Psychorientology's Healer Certification Seminar. Here is her story exactly the way she told it to us:

"I had taken the Silva course in 1980. In 1983 Jose Silva came to Vermont and gave his advanced course. In that we learn to do hands-on healing. In the basic course, you learn how to transmit your energy at a distance and do healing.

"I was so high, being around Jose was such an incredible experience to begin with. And then to learn from him was just unbelievable.

"The course was two days, Saturday and Sunday.

"I came home on Sunday and was so excited and got into the house, and two minutes later my son, who was ten at the time, came running in crying, blood streaming out from his knee, he had fallen off his bike, his face was scratched.

"I did my traditional calming him down, and we sat down and washed off the wound. It was still bleeding profusely. I said, 'Eli, I've been to a very special place and I've learned some things about healing. Would you mind if I try.'

"'Oh, yes! Go for it Mom!'

"So I put my hands over the wound and sent my energy that spot and Boom! The bleeding stopped. We were amazed! He said, 'Do some more Mom!'

"I said, 'Why not, let's go for it.' I sent more energy down. It was so profound, we literally saw the wound start to close.

"'I see it!'"

"'I see it too!'"

"We were going back and forth, amazed. Finally I couldn't take it any more and I had to stop, it was so powerful.

"That's probably one of the most profound experiences that I've had with the Silva techniques."
